Living La Vida Loca

Ok, so this will not be exotic…but boy, will it be fun! Simon Menaker has been part of Ruthie’s life for about a decade…her soulmate – met in Israel, courted in Charlotte/Chapel Hill, migrated together to Miami for Simon’s medical school stint, settled in LA for the next few years with his residency and her work at FIGS…and so very many journeys and global adventures together in between. Weathering the pandemic together and now FINALLY getting officially “hitched”! The joy we all feel is overwhelming. Period. There will be family and friends from many places converging to help celebrate this awesome and vibrant couple and no way can I promise that tears of joy won’t be flowing. Plan is to dance our way through the weekend. Bittersweet as it will be without the company of my parents and one of Simon’s grandmothers, we’ll do all we can to share the specialness of this occasion via technology and massive numbers of pictures.
