Les Tres Torres

Les Tres Torres was established around 1901 – 1903. It was an area on the periphery of Sant Gervasi, near the border with the town of Sarria. Roma brothers and Climent Mas built three towers on land inherited from Little Houses. These towers are what gave the place its name, replacing the old name Girl Casas, that existed in late nineteenth century. One of the towers survives today, although modified, on the corner Via Augusta-Doctor Roux (This is literally around the corner from our flat!). Over time other towers were built along with mansions in the rest of the district, and the second half of the twentieth century gave way to some luxurious apartments.

We live smack in the middle of this enclave!
